Redmi Note 10 Pro: The Ultimate Budget Smartphone

Redmi Note 10 Pro with a 48MP camera, Snapdragon 675 processor, & 12GB RAM is the ultimate budget smartphone from Xiaomi. But with so many smartphone brands to choose from, how do you know which one is right for you? In this comprehensive review of Redmi Note 10 Pro, we cover the following aspects of this device so that you can make an informed decision when choosing your next phone: design, display, software, performance and more! Check out our in-depth review below!

It’s still running MIUI

The Redmi Note 10 Pro is still running on MIUI, which some will love and others will hate. I am personally a fan of MIUI, as I feel it gives me more options to tinker with my phone. But if you are not comfortable using an Android skin over vanilla Android, then you are better off looking at other devices.

Also, since there’s no word on when or if Google will release its updates for MIUI phones that were released prior to 2019, then Redmi users might be stuck with outdated software for some time to come. Of course, if you don’t mind it—and most people won’t—then you can ignore all of that entirely.

It has a better screen than most at this price point

With a screen that measures 6.3 inches, there’s no questioning it—the Redmi Note 10 Pro has one of the largest displays on a smartphone at its price point. Even better? It’s an IPS LCD screen, so viewing angles are top-notch and content is easier to see in sunlight. Add to that a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and you have a display that keeps pace with far more expensive phones.

Plus, it has a refresh rate of 72 Hz and can go as high as 144 Hz if you turn on GPU Turbo Mode from within settings, which brings us to our next point.

It has a better camera than most at this price point

Most smartphones under $400 come with a single camera on the back that tops out at about 16-megapixels. That’s fine for most of us, but some folks really appreciate having two cameras on their smartphone and many of those people pay up to $800 or more for a device like it. Enter Redmi Note 10 Pro.

It comes with a wide-angle primary sensor and a super-wide 5MP lens; you can capture more of your surroundings (or even yourself) in any shot without having to move around too much. Add HDR, Night Mode, AI Scene Detection and AI Beautify 4.0 into the mix and you have one seriously capable shooter at an affordable price point.

It has stereo speakers

The Redmi Note 10 Pro comes with a Hi-Fi audio chip and dual speakers which promise good sound quality. One of them is positioned at the bottom of your phone while another at top. Xiaomi says, both these speakers should work together to deliver high-quality sound in all directions. You can use headphones for handsfree calls or listen to your favorite songs without headphones on with earphones.

These are pretty good aspects regarding performance of Redmi Note 10 pro. If you are music lover, I am sure you will love these stereo speakers provided by Redmi note10 pro. When comes to budget smartphones, even they have decent audio quality but still, they don’t provide stereo speaker support like redmi note10 pro does.

Its battery lasts all day

If you’re sick of charging your phone once a day, then Redmi Note 10 Pro is for you. Its large 4,000mAh battery can easily last for over a day under heavy use. I’ve been using my Redmi Note 10 Pro as my daily driver, and I can confidently say that it easily lasts me through an entire workday.

Even with multiple games running in the background, dozens of chats open on Messenger, and articles being loaded on News Republic every few minutes—this device still has juice left by 9 PM at night. It also comes with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 support so that you can quickly charge it up during your commute to work or dinner at a restaurant.
